Lovin' the Outdoors!

The kids are loving that spring is here and we can get outside every day. And we are loving that daily time outside = long naps. They used to party at nap time many days of the week but now they crash at 1:05pm everyday for usually a good 3 hours. Although sometimes this means then that the party is postponed until bedtime, but oh well.

Grandma and Grandma Rauckman came to spend the weekend a few weeks ago and they brought kites for the kids which were a big hit.


You can barely see Maggie in this picture - it looks like she's being carried away by the kite!



They also had fun at the park where the Swing Queen staked her territory right away and then they found the rock climbing wall.


They practiced tee ball. Casey is a real slugger!





And then finally relaxed.

We also took the kids to the circus last weekend and they were much more interested in it than they were last year. They really enjoyed it!

The kids are finally at an age where they actually play with each other, instead of just kind of beside each other doing their own thing, and it's so much fun to watch! Some days, things like this go over really well and they have so much fun, other days it is a constant battle over who is in which spot - who wants to be in the front...or middle...or back. This was a good day!
