Saturday morning we took the kids to Market Mall. We spent a bit of time walking around the mini golf course, looking at the water and fish. Then we went into the Children's Museum and the kids had a lot of fun there. Mitchell laid claim to the wheel barrow right away, that thing did not leave his hands regardless of how much Maggie and Casey wanted it to. That is until an older girl came over and gently took it out of his hands (which was interesting because he gave it up without a fight, and actually it wasn't a bad thing otherwise he would have never wanted to leave).
We found out late Friday night that a friend of ours had some extra FREE tickets to Mamma Mia so Leah, Gail and I went to the show Saturday night. It was really good!
Today we worked on our trick or treat script at home before we went over to Leah's house. The kids had a good time there with all of her Halloween decorations and candy. Maggie was up to her hoarding ways and piling all of the red bags in one spot. Mitchell and her were tag teaming to empty all of Leah's candy into their buckets. It was funny! And I think Casey was their decoy to distract us.
After that we went to see Auntie Robin and Alan and then onto our friends Jen and Sheldon's. Our kids love playing with Jordyn and Luke, especially with their huge play kitchen. We got a pretty good group shot before we went home for lunch and a nap.
That's it for tonight. It will take me a while to go through all of the other pictures from the rest of the day. But holy man, I had no idea how much fun it is to take the kids trick or treating! Daniel and I had a blast, and I'm pretty sure the kids had fun too!
