From Nov 2011...
Life has seemed absolutely chaotic this past year. I'm sure it has a lot to do with the fact that we have 3 very strong willed toddlers (that's a whole other topic that I could write about all night). But we also had a number of other huge changes as well.
After being home with the kids for 2 years I went back to work part time with the Cardiac Rehab Program, Daniel resigned from his job with Sask Golf and started working from home and a few months later I started as a lia sophia jewellery advisor. After being back at work for a few months I realized how quickly time was flying by, how I wasn't spending nearly as much time with the kids as I wanted to be and I appreciated that I was never going to get these years back with the kids being this young. So we decided that I would take another leave of absence from my job to be at home with the kids during the day. It's been great because I still work a few casual shifts each month so I keep in touch with my co-workers and program participants and then I do 1-2 lia sophia shows a week. The majority of my time is at home with the kids which is what I really wanted, but I do still get out for some "adult time".
I am extremely lucky to have such a family-oriented and understanding manager who approved my leave. I am also lucky to have up to 2 years to go back to my position.
Just some random pictures...
Love these little builders!
We had some special visitors recently. Dee was a girl who was expecting triplets around the same time as we were, her girls are a few months older than our kids. They live up in LaRonge but it finally worked out to meet this great family. And they even have a Maggie too!
Some of our common snack spots...
My "babies" don't fit quite as well anymore in my arms, but I still love to hold them. And I think I will keep trying until they are bigger than me :)
